Ready to Listen, Learn, and Lead

Acton is a wonderful town that welcomes people from many backgrounds. Our excellent schools, recreational opportunities, increasingly walkable business districts, and an engaged population make Acton a great community.
Maintaining all that makes Acton wonderful is increasingly challenging. Among the issues are rising costs, the need for more and affordable housing, important infrastructure projects, and mitigating the impact of climate change. These require thoughtful, creative, and collaborative leadership to solve problems and keep our community responsive and strong. I am ready to work hard to address these challenges and build our community. Learn more about the skills and experiences that led me here in my biography, and check out my positions on issues, starting below and continued here.
Some Key Issues

Economic Development
Acton’s small commercial tax base means that homeowners shoulder most of our real estate tax responsibility. By supporting sensible business development, we can help moderate that strain while strengthening the local economy. MORE

Environment
Acton’s Climate Action Plan sets bold goals for reducing emissions. Acton residents and Town staff, boards, and committees have worked hard to advance these goals. I strongly support these efforts, and will work for continued progress and outreach to residents not yet engaged in these issues. MORE

Fiscal Stability
By planning carefully and ensuring responsible, sustainable budget growth, we can improve financial stability for all residents while striving to make Acton a more-affordable place to live. MORE

Community and Civic Life
Acton thrives because of its vibrant civic life and the strength of our community institutions — from our two outstanding libraries to our senior center, schools, and the many volunteer committees that keep our town moving forward. MORE
